Intestinal Cleanser

A healthy colon promotes a healthy body; an unhealthy colon promotes illness and disease. How does a colon become unhealthy? Easy. . .a lot of it depends on what you feed it. But supposed you've decided to clean up your act and start eating better and doing health-promoting things. . .what can you do now to start promoting colon health?

One of the things you can do is try to avoid having to take anti-biotics. But if you do have to for some reason, when you are finished taking them, start taking some probiotics. Antibiotics kill thing; probiotics promote life. So if you kill off all the bacteria (both bad and GOOD), in your colon because you have taken antibiotics, then taking probiotics will help rebuilding the flora and fauna of your intestines back to a healthy state.

Another thing you can do is flush out the internal waste that has been building up inside. Dr. Bernard Jensen, the colon expert, has said that "The heavy mucus coating in the colon thickens and becomes a host of putrefaction. The blood capillaries to the colon begin to pick up the toxins, poisons and noxious debris as it seeps through the bowel wall. All tissues and organs of the body are now taking on toxic substances. Here is the beginning of true autointoxication on a physiological level."
