Natural Deodorant Recipe

This is a "never-fail" natural deodorant recipe sent to me by "Lorie." I have not tried it yet, so cannot vouch for its effectiveness, but thought I would post it here in case anyone wants to give it a try. I would love to hear your reaction if you decide to try it for yourself.

Formula:

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch (unpolluted, per Hulda Clark)
  • A few drops oregano oil (to kill bacteria; experiment to see how much for you)
  • 15-20 drops peppermint oil (for fragrance)

For added protection, in a medium size bottle with cap, mix a solution of 50% Everclear alcohol and 50% water. (Note: I think you could use 80 proof and just add less water, about 30%, if you do not have Everclear--J.B.)

After shower or bath, saturate a folded paper towel with solution and wipe underarm area. Let dry before generously applying cornstarch mixture.

I'm told this has worked even on stressful days when other deodorants fail.
